The BIOSENS® system was not installed at the Oskarshamn nuclear power plant

Following the Oskarshamn incident, SVT (Swedish Radio and Television) filed a report from Biosensor to demonstrate explosives detection using the BIOSENS® system.

The report was shown on Rapport, SVT’s evening news broadcast at 7:30 p.m. on 22 May. Since it has now been established by the analysis of SKL (The Swedish National Laboratory of Forensic Science) that there were no explosives in the suspected material seized at Oskarshamn, and because the identity of the system used there has not been disclosed, Biosensor wishes to clarify that it was not a BIOSENS® system, as one might be led to believe by the report.
